THE TECHNOLOGY
Engineered For Salt Air.
Two proven layers do the work: a Nippon Steel ZAM substrate and a baked-on PVDF finish from Continental Coatings. RPS roll forms it into the Pro Loc standing seam panel: striated, concealed fasteners, 16 inches of coverage.
ZAM90 Substrate
Zinc, 6% aluminum, and 3% magnesium form a tough, self-healing metallic coating. It shields the cut edges, seams, and fasteners where salt attacks a roof first. It is 50 KSI steel in a heavy 24 gauge.
Koolnar 70% PVDF Finish
A multi-layer baked enamel finish with IR-reflective ceramic pigment. It is baked on, not glued on, so it holds its color and reflects Florida heat for decades.

What profiles and gauge does it come in?
Armored Coast is offered only in 24 gauge painted ZAM90 coated steel, roll formed as our Pro Loc standing seam panel. Pro Loc is a striated, concealed-fastener lock panel with 16 inches of coverage, made in our Welaka facility.
What colors are available?
Armored Coast comes in six standard colors: Charcoal, Bone White, Dark Bronze, Brown, Silver Metallic, and Matte Black. Every color carries the 20-year substrate and 40-year paint finish warranty.
Does it meet Florida code?
Yes. RPS provides the Florida Product Approval paperwork you need to pull a permit for your project.
